Organized successfully on July 23, 2026 by the Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Kashmir, under the sponsorship of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
The workshop brought together faculty members, doctoral researchers, and postgraduate students for comprehensive technical lectures, expert deliberations, and demonstration sessions. Key themes encompassed:
Design and fabrication of stimuli-responsive smart polymeric scaffolds for advanced 3D cell culture and tumor microenvironment modeling.
Synthesis, characterization, and surface functionalization of functional nanomaterials for targeted biomedical interventions.
Translational nanobiotechnology, optical and electrochemical sensing platforms, and point-of-care diagnostic devices.

Invited Talk at IIT Mandi — APA BioForum on Advances in Bioactive Polymers
Dr. Anil Chandra delivered an invited lecture at the APA BioForum on Advances in Bioactive Polymers, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi from May 22–23, 2026. The talk highlighted modern paradigms in smart polymeric matrices, micro/nano-architected scaffolds, and their translational potential in tissue engineering and point-of-care diagnostics.
A one-day 3D Bioprinting Workshop: Technology and Applications was successfully organized on 15th November 2024 in collaboration with Cellink. The workshop included insightful lectures and hands-on training on advanced 3D bioprinting technologies, attracting enthusiastic participants from various fields.
